Well.. it's almost time

Well, I finished the FSA Book… Am a LOT more comfortable with the concepts. Couple of sticking points are going to be the diff between IFRS / GAAP and the adjustment stuff. I’m definitely going to need to go over those again. I’m also slightly behind schedule, since I need to be progressing at around a 450 page / day pace to do all the books in 6 days (FSA’s only 300 something pages)

Well, at the end of today, slightly more then 50% of my study time will over. So far, the results aren’t great. I’ve done readings 14 - 58 and went through ~ 230 end of reading questions. I mostly did just item set questions. There’s sections where I’ve gotten 100% of the questions right… and sections that I got half wrong. So there’s about 6 study days remaining… I’m going to try to go through the remainder of the material within 4 days, take 2 or 3 mock exams on June 3, then target my weakest areas on June 4. (June 5 is not a study day as that would be counterproductive) In hindsight, I should’ve allocated 17 - 20 days to studying instead of 13, considering that the material is slightly harder then I expected, and the exam is much more volatile then I expected. I doubt I’ll be able to get my score high enough to be 2 standard deviations over MPS. I’m shooting for 1.5 std deviations at this point which will give me appx an 80% chance to pass.
