on the way back from montreal to toronto? No. I’d spend the last of your loonies in Montreal and head south from there. There are a few border crossings Quebec/Vermont, IIRC you are in NYC? Seriously go all out in Montreal. This is a bro trip right?

Ottawa has a reputation of being a boring city. It has still a lot of outdoor activities, like hiking in the gatineau park and cyclo touring, but everybody is home sleeping by 10pm. it’s the kind of city which is perfect to raise a family but not so fun to visit (this year might be an exception with the 150’th of Canada). if you’re passing by, I would still check it out, it’s the capital.

If you’re vising anything in Quebec, you don’t have to speak french, but all the road signs are in french only, so knowing a couple words can help. Also, Quebec has definitely the highest chicks per capita ratio in the world, so you can definitely have fun in Montreal if it’s a bro trip

Depends on how much time you have. Muskoka is great location to rent a cottage, boat, relax etc. and then you can travel up to Algonquin Park.

Don’t bother going to Hamilton.
