one of the charterholders with my previous employer had it framed to hang on his office wall, the charter is HUGE.
I know that guy. He’s in the Dallas Society. That’s Dan Meader on the right…he’s a CFA governor.
For an institute that prides itself on ethics, tenacity, rigor, and analytics, one would think that humbleness would be in the mix somewhere. I’ve seen how big the charter is, and it’s a bit…gaudy. Not to mention a pain to get framed. I don’t know, what do you all think? I personally treasure my undergrad and grad degrees more than the CFA charter (from a purely aesthetic perspective).
My college degree looks downright silly next to the charter. I think I’ll have to go get an MBA to balance out the degrees on the wall.
