Maybe I’ll do some higher level maths and programming; I enjoy problem solving. Could also be good if I ever decide to venture outside of ER. I also would consider a top 10MBA. Mainly to take a two-year vaca.

I already make good money, CFA is basically it for me. For me it would be turning down a lot and picking up very little. I could do an executive program (maybe I guess, I am a partner in a sizable firm) but not really something that would help my career overall.
Always wanted to learn Spanish. If I clear this, then hope to fulfill that desire.

Probably going to finish of the CAIA. Giving myself a week off from studies and then probably start studying for CAIA Level II in September. If I were confident in my results for CFA Level II I would hold off until next March. I consider myself on the bubble, so I need to make sure I get the CAIA out of the way in case I am studying again next spring. If everything goes well, by November I will have the CFA and CAIA in addition to the CIMA and my Masters in Investment Management, which I already have. Should make for an impressive bio/resume.
I have been nonstop lately. November 2009 - February 2010 - Studied and took the GMAT February 2010 - June 2010 - Studied and passed Level II June 2010-December 2010 - Started my part-time MBA at DePaul and took 5 classes. January 2011 - June 2011 - Studied for Level III Now I’m taking a break this week and then will take summer classes for my part-time MBA again. I think CFA and MBA would be enough for me for awhile.

Sounds like me Fall 2008 graduated from MBA June 2009 CFA L1 Nov 2009 FRM June 2010 CFA L2 June 2011 CFA L3 That’s it for me…pass or fail no retake!!!
CFASniper Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That’s it for me…pass or fail no retake!!! You say that now. But not finishing LIII kind of makes all the work for LI and LII all for naught.

Should make for an impressive bio/resume. It seems we were quite a bunch of people to follow this kind of path this year … hopefully not too many …
Gonna learn some Objective C and mess around developing some iphone apps.
I really don’t understand people going the actuary route.
Where are you guys going to Bschool? I’ll be going to Wisconsin this fall…Applied Security Analysis Program (ASAP).

started as an actuary for 2 years (finished 3 exams)… CFA (hopefully if I pass – I have enough years of exp), FRM, CAIA, 770 GMAT, now to apply this year for a top 5 MBA program.
Exactly, thepinkman. One or the other.
