On a different note, before I met my girl I used to play myself down when i would go out. I would discount my actual wealth among other things and play into women’s so called moral ethics. It’s funny, most girls would go out of there way to disprove the theory that all HCB were invariably attracted to $$. They also didn’t seem to mind, or feel betrayed, when they arrived at my doorman luxery building.

I used to, but I guess it never really leaves you. Actually taught it to a few people as well back in college. But I’ve slowly transitioned away from it. I was fairly involved in it at one time.

I always knew HCBs didn’t have to go to college because of the high opportunity cost. Their time is better served looking pretty (shopping, tanning, grooming, etc.).
What I noticed recently is that it’s the same with good looking guys. My 3 best looking guy friends are all blue collar workers. They were intelligent and honour roll students in highschool but as soon as they started dating HCBs, they simply had no more time to spend reading books. So they ended up as firemen, policemen, or working in construction.
You need to hang out in different social circles then. There are a lot of gorgeous women who are highly educated and successful in their career, with far better qualifications than most of the inhabitants of this board…

People always talk about types like Hugh Heffner, Berlusconi, etc, and attribute their success with women to money. Personally, I think the attraction has a lot more to do with the power than money. Power is sexy to women, in the same tits and a nice ass is sexy to men.
Also, I think you’d have a pretty good time hanging out with the likes of Heffner, Berlusconi, Clinton types. I can totally understand the attraction for women and it has nothing to do with money.

just cold approaching in shops,roads etc.for example- i was walking today and a cute girl was approaching damn fast,by the time i could react she had passed me.so if i had to do anything i would have had to turn around and come up from behind her.didn’t seem right so i let it go,but im not sure.
Power and money is attractive to women (and men). But the women who can be easily manipulated by it are hardly the type of women that you want to spend time with, even if you have it. Admittedly, most men (myself included) need to spend a little time with this kind of woman before really understanding at a gut level how vapid and unsatisfying they are, no matter how pretty.
It also helps a for man to have been with a few very physically attractive women before he can start to appreciate the value of women who are less than 10s and 9s. Once he’s had a few vapid 8s, 9s, and 10s in his past, a man is able to be with a more ordinary-looking woman that he likes and know that he’s making a conscious choice to be with her because he likes her and she’s good to him, and not be plauged constantly by the insecurity that “he’s only with her because he can’t get anyone hotter.”
Given that money is a societal contruct, it’s reasonable to conclude that on an animalistic level, money is attractive since it generally leads to higher status, i.e. “power”.
I can’t think of too many examples of powerful people who are not at least somewhat rich. I guess if you are a military general or some kind of politician, you might meet that definition.
In these situations I trip them to give myself time to think. Then while they’re getting up throw in a quick neg and grab their purse. Now that you’ve got something they want, you’re desireable to them. Begin to back away and girls will often pursue you. Smoothly seal the deal by pulling out their phone and scoring their digits by texting yourself. Lastly, return the purse to look like a hero and an alpha male that can give them what they want.

ha ha.yea i get that most of it is BS and 90% of it is mainly confidence,dressing well and having things going on for you.
but there is no doubt that there are elements of it which are psychology/science and it would be interesting to know what it is.
also directly approaching someone alone is slightly different from normal ways,their guards will be up and you have a short span of time to bring it down blah blah,so yeah let’s see what they have to say.

They all have their own money already and Tom Brady isn’t exactly collecting welfare.
The argument being made was that all women want wealthy old men. I made the counter point that you can rule out “old” when money is taken out of the equation. Furthermore, you can see that while each of these women who can date just about any man did choose men with money, none of the guys are excessively rich among the options available to those women. So clearly there is an interplay and tradeoff or ultility maximation between desireable traits of physical attractiveness and money. The end point being, that when guys like Hugh Heffner marry attractive, damaged goods lacking personality and intelligence, he’s settling for half the package, just as the girl is settling for half the equation. I think the tradeoff between attractiveness and wealth is an individual decision.
There is a good chance that the hot wives want the old guys to die off so they can inherit everything. With this in mind, the attractiveness vs. age graph probably starts high (young guys), then decreases and hits a low (old guys who still have a long time to live, like 60-year-olds), and then goes up with age.
