When I decided to enroll into de CFA Program I was really hyped, self-encouraged and committed. My target was always to learn, not just pass the exams. My trend:
DEC 2014 - L1 pass
JUN 2015 - Skipped for studying L2, active member in AF
JUN 2016 - L2 pass
JUN 2017 - Skipped year for a better job performance
MAR 2018 - Tried to enroll in the FRM Program, but found out risk management was not my main interest.
JUN 2018 - Skipped year for a better job performance
JUN 2019 - Going to pass L3
In both of years I skipped L3, I paid my fee anyway in case the circumstances pointed to “study and work” and no just “work”, but It didn’t. I will enroll this august again.
Another advantage of skipping L3 is that I got more than 4y of pro experience in the financial industry and good recommendations.
I was supposed to sit L1 in Dec 2011 but I was not allowed to sit due to STUPID error in my ID number. I mistyped 89 instead of 98. I was so frustrated. However, CFAI granted me a free second attempt in June 2012 which I failed.
I decided to resume the program in 2017 and passed L1 and L2.
