Who used a timer or wristwatch for AM L3?

Test Preparations and items brought to ensure nothing went wrong:

1.) Checked tire tread and air in tires for morning drive. 2.) Changed oil in car. 3.) 2 Calculators brought to exam 4.) New Calculator batteries installed in primary calculator 5.) Extra calculator batteries for primary calculator 6.) 10 Brand new pens 7.) 4 Mechanical pencils 8.) Extra lead for pencils 9.) 2 Erasers 10.) 2 entrance tickets, backup in car 11.) 1 Passport in hand 12.) ONLY ONE FREAKIN QUARTZ WATCH!!!

Guess what failed as instructions were being read for the morning section?

As the exam was begining the time was noted in instructions and I went to reset my watch…and it never fired back up after attempting to set it to match the exam start time. I freaked out!!! Tried to reset many times and it didn’t fire back up. I quickly gave up and relied on the lame on-site time interval sheets. At the break I ran to try and buy a new watch, to no avail. As I walked sullenly back to the test center, I tried one last time to start the watch and it started up!!!

I think I blew the AM with added stress and scrambling to try and stay on pace and not over spend time on any question. I really watched time closely in practice exams, so needless to say I was thrown off.

man thats turrible. wish you the best

That really stinks! What was the chances of that happening!!! I suppose the best recommendation now is to bring TWO wristwatches. You never know, maybe you still passed the AM.

I read the exam instructions and it doesn’t say you can only bring one, and you can have it on your desk, so I wore two to the exam site, one digital and one classic. I was feeling kind of silly but who cares. Look at Flavor Flav, he wears a giantic one around his neck lol If we all did that it would be pretty hilarious…hahahaha
