Agree with higgmond. Being a BSD is doing whatever you want, when you want, and having the resources at your disposal to do so. Obama still answers to congress and the public, nobody says shit to Putin.

Hitler - Yes (as was Churchill) Kim - Poseur Assad - Small scale BSD. Is more so now that he has Obama begging him to let the US defend his regime. Bin Laden - No. He didn’t really have much real power. His impact, while big to Americans, is pretty small beer on the global stage.
Kim is very ill right now because he eats so much cheese and drinks too much alcohol in a country where the vast majority of the population is undernourished. Also, the entire country worships him like a god (and believes hilarious lies about them–Kim Jong Il is believed to be the first person who stepped foot on the moon and who also hit a hole in one on his first time playing golf).

I think you’re misreading this. Its the power and will to do what you want. People that are accountible to themselves and not social pressures. Some examples are obviously negative here, but there are positive BSDs. Churchill was one example I gave. Bill Gates would be another. Ghandi. Pope JPII kicking communisms ass. All BSD moves.
Yes geo is right, there are lots of postive / good guy BSDs. Truthfully, Obama is more BSD than any of us will ever be, it’s just more fun to tear him down and say he’s a pussy compared to Putin.

Pretty much all major world leaders are BSD’s relative to “normal” people because they have comparatively tremendous power by default. When I say Obama is not a BSD, I mean it in the context of being POTUS. If there were a gathering of every POTUS in history, Obama would be a small fish in that very small pond. If he were at some community organizers’ trade show though, they’d be falling over each other to catch a glimpse of his manhood.
