^ I guess you don’t believe in the law of averages. I would like to see a stat that tells us the number of goals a team scores the game after they score at least 5.
Scroll back to the first page of this thread and then you know I was dropping straight troof to the non believers.
This is a great account of his ‘anus tearing’ tackle.
^This is called hunger. If only Spain had played with this kind of verve.
^
Pure passion, you can’t beat it. Anyone have a gif of Sergio Romero kissing his badge after saving Wesley’s penalty or the Argentine man crying with joy in the crowd?
Superb.
If only markets were like this… …oh wait, they are! Up to and including the anus tearing bit…
Have you guys heard about the penalty discussion from the semi final between the Netherlands and Argentina?? Videos emerged leading to a quarrel if the first Dutch penalty of Vlaar was a regular goal because the ball rolled finally behind the line?? No goal-line technology??
Really weird!!!
^ There was no goal-line technology needed. There is at least one angle that clearly shows that the ball came to rest on the line without fully crossing it.
^ Okay, that´s what I didn´t recognize in the vids I saw. Thus, that discussion is needless.
^
You guys confident?
Germany are def the better team and their patterns of play are more fluid and co-ordinated as it should be given this team has been through a lot of tournaments together. Argentina have the better individuals though and they are quite disciplined at compressing space. If their frontline is up for it I can see them doing Germany on the counter.
If Muller scores and Argentina win I stand to win a bomb, going to be hard watching this match. That stupid fucking James ruined everything.
Just to make it clear, fireworks in front of hotels are not a pyrotechnic show. The only intent is to prevent the opposing side from sleeping - noise over visuals That’s Libertadores.
I’m not. Soccer is pretty random. What if Neuer was injured before the Germany-Algeria game? What if Mascherano was taken out for the head injury and nobody was able to stop Robben’s kick? Maybe we would be preaching the virtues of France and Netherlands right now.
How does Boateng start for Germany? Lol he’s so clueless. Hummels is a beast though.
Absolutely, I just took it slightly of topic. Any excuse to post that pic.
What makes you say that? Most of the time it is the better prepared team that’s done their homework who come out on top. I see Van Gaal is absolutely furious at the useless third place playoff as he should be.
Some of his press conferences next season will be off the hook, absolutely tears into the reporters when they annoy him.
the bloody germans have struggled with catenaccio so far and argentina is really not interested in a bare knuckle fight.
I would say the germans win by 2:1. difference being the freekicks, which they are pretty strong in.
interestingly enough, the mafia chose an Italian for referee. the ties between Italy & Argentina are pretty thick; I am a bit surprised it wasnt the Brit they chose, as in South Africa.
I’m predicting a 1-0 Argentina win.
they’re solid at the back as long as mascheranos torn hoop doesn’t hold him back
Hmm… Was wrong on Belgium, yes.
whos raging after the World Cup final on Sunday?
Germany looks very strong on the paper. The only cause of concern for me is that their defenders are of average quality. However, it can be easily overshadowed if they play as a unit.
It should be easy game for Germany and I am going for 2-0 win for them. History is also backing me

Algerian fans celebrate their team getting out of the groups
Expect Germany to take it 1 nil, if Di Maria is fit for Argentina that could be problematic but i expect Germany to come through
