The other day I joined the forum at a famous bodybuilding website,in the miscellaneous section there were people fighting and I really mean fighting, accusing each other of various misdeeds over matters entirely irrelevant to bodybuilding, then I looked in AF history and found these guys amusing:
Blake
Inkybinky
Xray
isiluduur (I dont remember the whole name)
Rahul Roy
Igor
I dont want to start a troll post just wanted to know how these guys were perceived by the community and the types of troll warfare they participated in.
A note to the mods if this post is threatening in anyway just delete it entirely.
^Yeah thats the perfect solution I guess ,speaking of which we can have threads like this with a self timer so it goes away entirely after a certain time. But please go back to the original topic,so what was this QBee like ?Surely his username doesnt sound like a genuine one
out of context, if any of you are subscribed to wwe’s youtube channel there is a troll named “that man was the ryback”. funniest troll i ever have seen. ill quote one of his comments here " Ha my big show is a master at video pgames Pg paige is becoming more pg bcuz she attack the smella tweenz Paige and naomi are da real pg twins Roman reigns and candy kane sucks My big show is a pg legend and a skinny high flyer"
Gabe, I’m not the only one here that’s figured out your other AF names. This thread is oddly self-aggrandizing.
On topic - Blake was the best troll. I’d like to believe qqqbee was for real, and even if he wasn’t, I’m sorry to say I didn’t enjoy him nearly as much as others. I put him and phillip.platt in the “batshit crazy” category anyway, not trolling. (And, in my book, phillip > qqqbee.)
Then there are other guys that troll in a much subtler fashion. kkent, marcus phoenix, zesty - just to name a few. Guys that make horrible, uncited claims just to push your buttons and further the post count. Those guys are really bad trolls because some people actually believe they mean well. They don’t.
Tansut was muslim and had a different perspective during the early days of the Iraq invasion. Olberman hated Bush et al and had the charm of Blake.
I’ve been on AF since 2003 (though I don’t post) and people used to really mix it up back in the day. Back then it was called ‘Off Topic’ as opposed to ‘Water Cooler’.
BChad - multiply the length of his posts as measured by the time spent reading by others times their per-hour rate. He is second only to Microsoft products in terms of lost productivity. And just like MS products, you can’t really avoid them since they have some good points.
At least my useful points made per wordcount ratio is still higher than yours, bub. Moreover, that includes the transitional adverbs and a good portion of the qualifier clauses, not to mention comedic filler.
It’s true that Qbee might not be a true troll because his cluelessness, however phenomenal, was not intentional.
Blake liked to say things just to tick people off and get them angry, which is the classic definition of a troll.
Stormyhotel was a fun one too. He still comes back now and then. I remember CvM wrote him a takedown over not tipping his hookers or something like that.
Spierce was an interesting poster. He loved to call people idiots when he disagreed with people, but his posts did come with good analysis of his own in them.
Qbee was the most overrated poster in AF history. The fact he had a fanclub here makes me appreciate people that actually have good taste.
I’d take philip.platt anyday over qbee. It’s a shame he got abducted and later murdered. Who knows, he might have made the AF Hall of Fame if his life had not ended prematurely.
I never understood the love for Qbee, either. But there is no denying that he became a legend during his time here, and gets referenced to this day. Then John Rogers of CFAI secretly tied him up and threw him into one of the concrete pylons of the Three Gorges Dam construction, not far from where chad put philip.platt.
I don’t remember much about philip.platt, myself, other than the name.
I think I only caught the end of Blake but he actually seemed alright to me. He wound up some regulars that seem like reasonable people so he must have been good at trolling.
isuldurs ban was harsh considering some of the stuff that flies around here. His anti yank chat was quite amusing to watch, especially when people couldn’t take the banter on the chin. His dube accounts are pretty tedious though.
id put cfavsmba down as a troll but there are so many people here with their tongues up his arse that I don’t know if you can count it as trolling.
qbbbeee sounds fucking batshit crazy. Who was Phillip platt?
I don’t think QQQBee was a troll, so much as an autistic Chinese guy with an inability to accept that maybe, just maybe he was wrong. That was my favorite thread ever on this forum. Sorry Formertrader, I have shitty taste.
@Gringo - If being able to piss off normal, even-tempered, anonymous people on an anonymous forum is the defintion of a troll, then Blake McAllister is the King thereof.
And I also have no idea who phillip.platt is. Links? Stories?
