This thread is getting ugly. You pass or you fail, no need to put down the people who fail or discredit the people who pass. Level II is %#&@)%#%*#@)_% nasty.
I never look down people until he looks down others.
4 types of people in this world:
-
smart and humble: that’s rare
-
smart and arrogant: normal
-
stupid and humble: not too bad
-
stupid and arrogant: true loser.
7down-faliure is type-4.
pathetic.
Thanks, guys, I am not going to feed the trolls.
And I really ahte people answering based not what I really told, but on their assumptions.
Perhaps I am a stupid, but I am in no way arrogant.
One who aced the 3 levels did not find a decent job from 2007; I never called him a loser. He deserves his designation, but the realities of the job markets in the place where we live like that it is not going to change.
All I told that I am not going to pay that price to get such a payout.
I do not like your trolling, guys.
Hi all!
I would like to make some remarks about role of language skills for passing CFA exam.
I am not native English speaker. Moreover my skills in speaking and writng are very poor.
I can only read… I am CFA - study notes - reader.
I am sure, if you are possible to read thousands pages of CFA books and got it – you are able to understand questions on the Exam.
I pass Level 2 this year and my poor English was not a problem.
I am aware of the realities of the job market where you work and believe me, its not impossible for your friend to get a job. Russia’s unemployment rate is currently lower than in the US.
Maybe he doesn’t want a job, or is holding out for what he considers a good fit. That is a different story.
That is your decision.
Thanks Captain Obvious
Please check some statistics for Siberian Region before making that assumptions.
Focus on yourself and not make meaningless comparisons to others.
The fact that he passed on his first attempts and unemployed has NOTHING to do with you, or your 6 failed attempts.
You don’t need to put other people down to make yourself feel better (see he passed his exams and he’s not very successful in life, ha!), it’s that thinking that distracts you and keep you away from achieving your own goals.
NANA
LOL that’s Giovanni for you.
I am still trying to mounce it. I told not so non-common real story of a guy who finished all the 3 exams and did not get his charter because of working exp.
I was told that I am 1. Arrogant 2. Asshole. 3. True Loser.
You know what?
Jk423295Kj. That’s my password.
Enter my profile and write what you want. Think i am arrogant? Write something arrogant. Write evrything you want. Write under my nick and discuss it. Troll me, lough at me, enjoy it.
Btw, I never failed 7 times. I did it 6 times only (see the title of the thread).
I left.
Ugly stuff! See how cfa can make ppl’s life miserable n create psychological disorders…
I think you should retake if your work pays for it. You have enough cumulative study hours and familiarity with the topics that with a minimal amount of sharpening (say ~ 100 hrs or so) you could at least have a shot at passing.
One thing that passers don’t mention is that (in addition to knowing the material reasonably well), they were also lucky guessers. Every test taker is guessing on at least some questions – either blindly or with educated guesses.
Let this thread die please. I think the guys has concluded that it’s not for him… let it go, there are more important things in life than CFA for sure.
