My employer required that I take the exam (and supported me in the effort).
I don’t expect it to perform miracles for me, but I do hope that it will help to create opportunities for me for the rest of my career. I will still have to make the most of those opportunities.
Might start teaching the course to get an instant dividend.
By the way, I agree that the average poster here is young compared to actual test-takers. Majority of Level 3 candidates I saw were noticeably older than me.
Turned 26 the day before the test, so I’m looking forward to actually celebrating my next birthday :). And I’m hoping to get a little more credibility / respect in the office with the “,CFA” after my name. And maybe even be upgraded from a cube to an office
its really not that spectacular. or I’m not looking in the right places. Most places my experience kills me having only worked for a year. Sucks I can’t apply for another 3 years…
