2013 NFL Playoffs Thread

How do you guys see this years playoffs playing out? I called 10/11 games correctly last year, but I think this year will be far more unpredictble. Here is what I’ve got so far…

NFC

Round 1

Packers over Vikings

Seahawks over Skins

Round 2

Seahawks over Falcons

Packers over Niners

NFC Championship

Seahawks over Packers

AFC

Round 1

Texans over Bengals

Ravens over Colts

Round 2

Ravens over Broncos

Pats over Texans

NFC Championship

Ravens over Pats

Super Bowl

Ravens over Seahawks

I picked Ravens pre-season to win the super bowl so I guess I have to stick with them, but I actually think the Patriots have the best chance to win it all this year.

^ In your scenario, if the Bengals win their wildcard game, they would play the Broncos, not NE.

NFC

– Wildcard

GB > MIN

SEA > WAS

– Division

SEA > ATL

SF > GB

– Championship

SEA > SF

AFC

– Wildcard

HOU > CIN

IND > BAL

– Division

NE > HOU

DEN > IND

– Championship

NE > DEN

– Super Bowl

NE > SEA. (provided Gronk is healthy)

^ Good catch, I was flip-flopping on that Texans/Bengals game… guess I’ll go with the Texans to make it easier.

NFC

Wildcard Round:

GNB over MIN

WAS over SEA

Division:

ATL over WAS

GNB over SFR

Championship:

GNB over ATL

AFC

Wildcard Round:

HOU over CIN

BAL over IND

DEN over BAL

Championship:

NFC

Round 1

Packers over Vikings

Seahawks over Skins

Round 2

Falcons over Seahawks

Packers over Niners

NFC Championship

Packers over Falcons

AFC

Round 1

Texans over Bengals

Colts over Ravens

Round 2

Broncos over Colts

Pats over Texans

AFC Championship

Broncos over Pats

Super Bowl

Broncos over Packers

Yeah, I think Packers/Seahawks in the NFC, and Broncos/Pats in the AFC.

Ultimately, the Broncos beat the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

Seahawks are overrated due to their home field advantage granted by geography and time difference.

The Seahawks have the best 12th man in the league. My team used to until we began to suck every year.

I’m rooting for my boy Tony G and the Falcons, though I think the Niners will end up representing the NFC. In the AFC I’d love to see Denver v Pats in the AFC Championship. As much as I hate Denver, Peyton needs another Super Bowl win. Eli having more is unjust.

Still, I’ll go Niners over Donkeys.

Niners can’t play defense without Justin Smith. Seahawks are clearly a better home team than a road team, but have done well on the road recently and are scorching hot (put up 58, 50 and 41 points the last three games that meant anything to them). Ask the Giants how important it is to have positive momentum heading into the playoffs…

I predict one round at a time:

Ravens

Texans

Packers

Skins

NFC

Round 1

Packers over Vikings

Seahawks over Skins

Round 2

Falcons over Seahawks

Packers over Niners

NFC Championship

Falcons over Packers

AFC

Round 1

Texans over Bengals

Ravens over Colts

Round 2

Broncos over Ravens

Pats over Texans

NFC Championship

Pats over Broncos

Super Bowl

Falcons over Pats

Im with ft here, one round at a time:

Bengals

Colts

Skins

Packers

Im lovin the rookies, no homo. Houston is playing like shit, Seattle is overrated, and Rodgers will out-perform Peterson

You must love America’s team! Cowboys fans unite!!!

I want to see the Packers avenge the “Fail Mary” loss in the NFC Championship Game vs. the Seahawks at Lambeau Field. Failing that, some good commercials on February 3rd.

NFC

Round 1

Packers over Vikings

Seahawks over Skins

Round 2

Falcons over Seahawks

Packers over Niners

NFC Championship

Falcons over Packers

AFC

Round 1

Bengals over Texans

Ravens over Colts

Round 2

Broncos over Bengals

Pats over Ravens

AFC Championship

Broncos over Ravens

Super Bowl

Broncos over Falcons

Same, but Seahawks over Skins

Washington over Seattle - RG3 is good, Seattle was 3-5 on the road

Indy over Baltimore - Flacco is not up to the challenge, Indy coach comeback momentum

Green Bay over Minnesota - GB talent too much for Minnesota to overcome

Houston over Cinci - Surely Houston is good enough to win this game (maybe?)

1st Round: Texans, Ravens, Vikings, and Redskins.

I’d be surprised if the Packers end up deep in the playoffs, their D is pretty bad. As usual, I’d think the Patriots should do well.

I’d like to see Niners vs. Broncos with Peyton winning.

I just hope to see Brady vs Manning…for maybe the last time ever. They can only face off in the AFC title game.

Agreed, Pats Broncos is the super bowl for me.
