So I guess as of last night they sent a plane to go pick up at least two infected Americans and bring them home. Let’s intentionally bring the ebola virus to the US… what could possibly go wrong?!
Yeah, it’s not that contagious, except that trained medical professionals WEARING F–KING MOONSUITS are being infected.
I sometimes wonder if a really large portion of people in charge of things are completely retarded. This is outrageous. I can understand the desire to help Americans, but help them while they stay over there, don’t bring a very deadly virus back to the US.
The Liberian guy who infected that Nigerian nurse and others is said to have gone into denial, pulled down his pants and started urinating at health workers around him, when he got briefed of his diagnosis. If I was there I would have eliminated him instantly without a second thought…
More seriously, one of my girlfriend’s close family members is a nurse at a hospital in Florida. She said that they have had meetings about how to react if a patient comes in looking like they might have Ebola. They also have plans to use that new not-really-tested vaccine on the staff if anthing is confirmed. I dont know if people are required to get that vaccine or if it’s just made available. Being required to use something untested sounds like a path to guaranteed lawsuits.
