Who here actually gets paid to make go/no go decisions with other people’s money? Seems like a small percentage of regular posters…

Not me. I was specifically told in a risk management meeting that I’m not even allowed to allude to stock prices as we aren’t a RIA/whatever alphabet soup allows you to do that.

I kind of used to do this for a corporate, I had a fixed income portfolio with full discretion within the IPS. Then I got promoted. Still miss those days. It was a go/no go decision, but not hardcore equity stuff like you BSDs.
^ Nowadays, FI seems as interesting and even more complex than equity…

I help make it. but no final decisions. Simply a research guy.
