Cramer does a good job in boiling down recent macro activity in Dow. Not too big on his forecasts, but you can’t argue that the guys isn’t knowlegable.
I think that Cramer is a smart guy, and it’s not necessarily his personality that bothers me. It’s more the way his teachings seem to flip-flop from port mgmt strategies to trading hot stocks; seems contradictory to the avg. investor he aims to help. This, however, is probably a problem that’s inherent in trying to fill hours of live TV.

yep lol. i remember i did a stock analysis for a company. deep dive. 10-k, transcripts and errything. and low and behold. i coulda juss watched a 10 minute bit from cramer and got all the most imp stuff.

Jim Cramer is acting, it’s his schtick. You cannot grab the attention of retail investors with common sense and smart analysis.
I bet you he’s a quiet guy once the cameras are off. We have a guy like him named Don Cherry and he’s the biggest introvert off camera.
Nope. He’s a complete asshole. Todd Harrison, the guy that runs Minyanville, used to work with Cramer at his old hedge fund. Todd said Cramer is basically the worst person in the world to work for/with. When real money is at stake, Cramer is even more explosive. That said, Todd did say Cramer is also one of the smartest market technicians around.
I wonder what he said to his Prime Broker? BUY BUY BUY!!

Haha I love Santelli! (Not actually, but as a tv peronality). I would love to watch Jim Cramer fight Kevin O’leary. I hate both of them so much. Bloomberg TV blows CNBC (and pretty much any other business channel) out of the water. Stephanie Rhule, Tom Keene, Cory Johnson, Scarlet Fu, Francine Lacqua all stand out as excellent financial journalists.

Actually, you know who definitely takes the cake for worst pundit? Or at least a slice of it? Jeremy Siegal. He’d blow stocks up your butt with a straw if he could.
I know… it’s an impossible fantasy. But I’d still like to see it
