Exam format

Hi all,

I was wondering what is the format of the L1 exam? Do we get questions by topic or are they all jumbled up? Does the question sheet states that following questions relates to Quants etc. and if not then whether the questions of the same topic are in one series?

They’re grouped by topic area.

^Not only that, but they are in the order that it is covered in the curriculum.

So you will see this: Questions 1-10 are about Ethics. Then you’ll have 10 questions on ethics.

Then you will see this: Questions 11-16 are about Quant. Then you’ll have six questions on quant.

Thanks guys. And what is the difference between morning and afternoon exams? Is there any difference in the level of difficulty or just they want to give break to people?

Exact same format. Only the questions will differ.

Is the CFAI mock exams the same exact format as the AM/PM sessions real exam?
