So I am not sure if any of you ever make it over to the Level III forum, but there is a debate as to whether the CFAI website is providing a tell as to whether individuals pass or fail. After talking to a couple individuals taking to a couple Level II candidates, they seem to have the same tell / anomaly and would be curious to see if with a larger sample size we could finally put this debate to rest. Theory is that if you do not see “Access Scholarship” under the Your Program tab on the Your Account page that you passed. Again, all theory and speculation, but it seems to have provided a reasonable result at Level III last year. With knowing that a couple Level II candidates cannot see the “Access Scholarship” tab.
To see where the tab normally is, log-in to the CFAI website, click on Your Account at the top right then Your Profile. Once on the Your Profile page, scroll down to the bottom until you see the your program row and see if it reads, “Your CFA Program” and “Access Scholarship” or just “Your CFA Program.”
Mine just says Your CFA Program as well. this could all just be hocus pocus…
now, if we all were willing to disclose our mock scores and how we felt, we could make this interesting. we would need a large sample size tho. Im kinda bugging out.
To the OP, can you send a link to where this idea was originated? I would assume it was on AF…
I’ll participate… Mine does not have the scholarship info which indicates a pass according to the theory. I scored a 62 on my last cfai mock 2 weeks prior to the exam.
Every one can go to this page and start the access scholarship application now even before the results. That means the access to this link is not limited to only those who are going to pass.
If it does allow you to proceed and start your scholarship application, then that might also give some hint. Not very sure. Because may be all the cfa level 2 candidates are alllowed to apply for access scholarship.
