I was reading through some of the comments providing advice for GMAT preparation and it crossed my mind that complacency is not a characteristic reflected in this community. The forum was a user who just got his charter and now seeking to procure his MBA. With an aurora of ambition surrounding this community, it made me wonder if such aspirations came to fruition, at least in terms of compensation. Having said all this, I would like to poise the question of the average total compensation of an AF user (sorry int’l users but I would like the sample to only include those within the US)
I agree. Is there a way to anonymously input your base, bonus, and other commissions into a spreadsheet? User names would not be seen, just their job title, location, and income figures.
It is very simple to make a doc with salary info on it that doesn’t ID people. Make a Google Doc spreadsheet and post the link here. People can input their info.
Yikes, good pointers there. I’ve been scrolling through cars and that explains the aurora - as for the others, i simply can’t spell and rely heavily on spell check lol. Anyway, i am curious of the results and like the spreadsheet idea.
I like expensive words, but they should be used like spices. You want your text to have some accents that make it flavorful, rather than twenty different powers rammed down your throat simultaneously. It’s the difference between a delicious sushi and sardine masala.
Instead of “city”, maybe put “Cost of living where you live: high/low/medium”, or something like that. I can imagine people not wanting to specify their location to maintain anonymity.
There was a whole thread about this like a year ago; a lot of people directly posted their salary in the forum. I thnk the average salary at the time was like $70-80k
i’m offended at your culturally insensitive analogy which is reflective of your own biased culinary preferences and characterizes a delicious south-asian dish as inferior to a japanese specialty
