Connect yourself, if you can!

Most Common Dreams and Their Meanings

1. Being Chased

If you often dream that someone is chasing you, it means that your subconscious mind is indicating that you have been avoiding something/someone that is painful or frightening to you. Going deeper into the dream, what matters more is who is chasing you and what is your relationship with that person. Do you know that person?

2. Falling

It is one of the most common dreams people have reported – falling and falling and continuing to call. It could possibly mean that things are not going right in your life. According to some specialists, it could also be an indication from your subconscious mind that something in your life is going in a terribly wrong direction. More or less, people suffering from depression have reported falling in their dreams.

dr2 3. Losing Teeth

Specialists say that losing teeth could indicate loss in confidence. It could also mean that you are worried about your outlook and are concerned about a particular feature of your body.

d3 4. Dying

A lot of people report seeing themselves (or their close relatives) dead in their dreams. A lot of dream interpreters say that death in dream could symbolize a new start or spiritual transformation. Seeing someone close as dead in dream could mean that you are parting ways with that person emotionally.

dr4 5. Water

Dreaming about water is considered good by some experts, as it symbolizes purification, change, and transformation of life. Going deeper into this, what decides further interpretation is whether you’ve seen a big water body, flowing river, waterfall, whether you are offer/receiving water, etc.

dr5 6. Being Cheated On

The best and the worst thing about dreams is that they are involuntary; so, you can actually dream almost anything! Dreams can express what is inside your mind. If you have dreamt about your partner cheating on you, don’t worry! Experts say that it can happen out of jealousy and you should not take such dreams seriously. Instead, you need to spend more time with each other!

dr6 7. Snakes

A lot of people have reported seeing snakes in their dreams. Experts say that it could symbolize a hidden threat that you need to take care of. If you see snake shedding its skin, it could mean renewal or a new start.

dr7 8. Being Late

Students often dream that they have run late to take their vital exam; office-goers often seem themselves as reaching late to office! Such a dream could indicate your anxiousness about your work or what you are about to come across in the near future (in terms of work). dr8 9. Can’t Shout

People have reported dreams where they find themselves as mute. They say that they want to shout and raise an alarm, but they are unable to (in their dream). Such a dream could indicate that you are not able to express fully and something is stopping you to achieve your goals. One should take such a dream seriously and start working towards his/her goals. Even if you haven’t experienced such a dream, you ought to move towards your goals, unstoppably! dr9 10. Celebrity

People often report seeing themselves as a celebrity in dreams. They also see themselves performing on stage and surrounded by people. These dreams could be result of watching excess of television and excessive use of internet. The idea is that when you go to bed with a pre-occupied mind, you dream accordingly!

11.Being naked in public (on Greenman’s request)

What is interesting is that in so many of these dreams, no one but the dreamer seems to be bothered by the dreamers’ nudity. These dreams often help the dreamer become more accepting and comfortable with their body or their vulnerability, no matter what the situation. In your own dream, see what the setting for your naked dream is. What is your reaction- both in terms of action and emotional response- to finding yourself in this situation? Do you rush to cover up? Do you hide? Or do you say “whatever” and go with the flow? Do clothes “make the man”? Do your clothes signal your station in life, or your ranking, or how you are seen (or want to be seen) by others? If so, your nakedness can take on a layer of cultural meaning as well. Once you have explored all of that, see if the feelings are similar to something you are going through in your waking life. You don’t have to literally be naked to feel vulnerable and exposed in life but sometimes it takes a naked dream to wake up to our emotions!

12.Horror dreams:

It is high time for you to mend yourself. Great evil may come to you. You must pursue virtue. A dream involving an evil atmosphere or evil spirits foretells that you will encounter obstacles to your current ambitions. You would be well-advised to consider a change of direction or plans. To dream that someone or something is evil, signifies a repressed and/or forbidden aspect of yourself. This part of yourself may be seeking recognition and acknowledgment. Alternatively, evil in a dream may also be a reflection of your strong, negative emotions like hate, anger, etc.

To see or talk to spirits within your dream is one of the most interesting dream types possible. And it is a privilege and nothing to be afraid of. Spirits may include family members, friends or acquaintances that have passed on. It can also include complete strangers and these could well be your spirit guides. We all have them. Almost without exception this will be a message type of dream. If you are lucky you will be given the message verbally but it could also be given as pictures, other sounds etc. It is worth remembering that spirit can be very literal when it comes to giving a message. For example lets say you were interested in meeting a new love and spirit wanted to give you a hint. You might well see the spirit standing on the center line of a road. Literal interpretation? You will meet someone online, i.e. the computer.

13.Being naked in office :

For instance, you may dream of being naked at the office right before that big project is due, or before you are due to make that big presentation. These types of dreams can be especially common among those who feel they are unprepared for the challenge.

14.Having sex in your dreams:

In general, sex means successful achievements, the settlement of debts, joy, relief from trouble, and aims that will be reached or a high position that will be attained. It could also be a reference to a most cherished person. Most, if not all, interpreters consider dreams that end up with an orgasm as null and void, for their being more physical than anything else. In such undesired culminations they advise thorough washing after leaving bed. For others, a dream concluded with ejaculation means that wishes will be fulfilled. If the sex partner is unknown, the dream is more likely to come true.

  1. Blood in dreams:

Very often it links with a feeling of being hurt or injured and of losing energy or the strength that enlivens you. But blood can represent pain, but also passions, deep feelings. It can refer to things that are deeply felt. We have passionate involvement with things. There are certain things that enter into us and cut us deeply. In some relationships we are opened up and we bleed even if the relationship is largely joyful, there still may be deeply felt and painful feelings in it.Read more about blood in dreams @:http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/blood/

Have you ever experienced any of the above dream ?

You forgot the “naked in public” dream. That’s the one I have most often. Haven’t had it in a long time though.

If you get “naked in public” dream too often then it may be due to one of the following below mentioned reasons:

1)You like this activity in your subconscious mind.

2)You have a fear that this may actually happen with you some day.

Can’t say I’ve ever had any of these dreams.

Also “rage against the white man” if you are stormy.

Most common dreams that i mostly have are:

1)Having sex with most sexy women in the world(who ever that may be.)

2)Death of my close relatives who are actually alive.

3)Rebirth of my relatives who are actually dead.

4)Being late for an exam.

I used to have the teeth falling out dream every now and again. Haven’t for many years though.

I find cash in random places in my dreams.

Also, missing trains/flights is a recurring theme as well

I’ve had loads of naked in public dreams back in school.

What do you mean by “every now and again”? I read it as you used to have the teeth falling out dream but haven’t have it for many years. Did I read it right? As I was about to ask you a question, I would like to make sure I understand what you mean.

biggest issue in my dreams is i cant score with a hot chick. somewhow i wake up right before scoring

I have the same problem! Except I wake up and realized I already scored

I’m not sure how that was confusing. Many years ago I would, on occasion, have a dream where my teeth would fall out. Now it’s probably been 7-8 years since I last had one.

I have a reoccuring dream where I am constantly “killing” this supercreature but it always reincarnates and comes at me again. So i am perpetually fighting.

Try having sex with it.

Rahul, I hope you can help me out. What’s the meaning of dreaming about two Blackhawks flying in front of my window, and then I see two SEC guys in the hallway?

I think reading the book called Interpretation of Dreams by psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud will help you.

Few too many ludes?

I’m lucky I didn’t pee in the bed the other day.

After brushing my teeth, I was really thirsty, so I drank a whole lot of water right before bed.

That night, I had a dream where I had to go pee really bad, so I went to the bathroom and peed. I noticed that it was a really, really long pee, like 30 seconds or so. I was really excited, thinking, “This is awesome!!! I’ve never peed for this long!!!” Then I finished, and zipped back up and went along my merry way.

Of course, a lot of other strange things happened in that dream. Nonetheless, I woke up shortly after and had to pee (in real life).

I just bring it up because I’ve had the dream where I had to pee, started peeing (in the dream), and consequently also started peeing in real life. Kinda sucks to get woken up from REM because you’re pissing yourself.

Anybody else have this phenomenon? Or am I alone?

I’ve had a vivid “teeth falling out” dream at least 3 times in the past year. I was also in pain in those dreams, but I attributed it to having a headache.
