CA is 3rd World?

Yo Nerdy. What’s going on in the Golden State? I haven’t been out there in a minute. I used to do a lot of business in So Cal and things were popping off when I left – downtown LA resurgence, Westside on fire, OC getting shinier and plastic-er by the minute. What’s happening?

this was the dumbest thing ive ever read. thanks for posting turd. i award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

Where do you find this stuff?

we are still the richest state in the country in terms of gdp.

in terms of gdp per capita we are ranked 8th.

if we were a country, we would be higher than sweden, germany, and denmark.

i love everything about la. only place i may consider moving to is miami or vegas.

i like hot beaches.

All those stats say nothing about the extent of a 2 tier society.

3 prong

please elaborate!

You mean the pools in Vegas, right? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been to CA a bunch of times over the years. Sure, there is a mix of wealth and poverty, but I wouldn’t call it a 3rd world country.

Some pics from last time I was in Cali, it really has turned to hell on Earth.

This goes right past the Anaheim Angels stadium, a couple blocks from Disney Land. This is so sad. I’ve done probably $100 million worth of deals within 5 miles of here. We’d do projects here, then head 10 miles south to drink $250 bottles of wine with our steak dinner. Sad. CA is gone forever.

Imagine dropping $600k for one of those condos with access to the beautiful Santa Ana River Trail. DOH!

not entirely sure what your point is? i know youre a right wing fella so i know you dont support increasing taxes on the rich in CA & corporations to help provide social & mental health services to these individuals.

it seems to be part of the general right wing talking point that cali is a horrible place for of liberulz and who would ever want to live there?!? to which the answer would be clearly a ton of people.

Haha, patient’s dying? Give em more poison! You’re a naive lil cubbie.

charlie you are lookin at this all wrong. you should focus on percentiles. see how california is better than the us in general.https://statisticalatlas.com/state/California/Household-Income

dont cherry pick. this trail only has 1000 homeless people. that’s not really much in the large scheme of things.

anyways this is why i am a fan of ubi. we wouldnt have this problem if everyone had a daily allowance. government taxes the rich to cultivate the poor that is then utilized by the rich to make the world a better place!

Cherry picking? Come on guy, step out of your bubble and mix it up with the common folk.

you guys still don’t get it. the choice of economic system is irrelevant. i’m not right wing, i just recognize how government is used by parasites to enrich themselves and spread misery. the system is irrelevant. parasites will find a way. kill the parasites.

for clarity’s sake we are talking about the homeless people right? duterte is doing something of that nature. a radical way to solve the problems of the poor.

kill the parasites

Hey it is a tough life in California. People can barely afford the cost of their new Mercedes E Class, weekly pool parties at the Four Seasons, and supporting their old-as-F gold digger baby mama with another secret 17-year-old daughter. Porn shop inheritance and the small revenue from self producing music videos only goes so far.

^ And what they’re charging for Korean BBQ and Vegas buffets is criminal!!! :broken_heart:

America as a whole is becoming a 3rd world country, although I think we need a new term to describe this phenomenon, which does not exist yet.
