Hi,
Is 20 days enough to do and redo all the EOC questions?
Just starting with it.
THanks!

do AND redo? not sure.
do OR redo? yes.
Will you be doing mocks as well? 20 days is tight.
No mocks. I have never ever taken a mock for Level I or 2.
Just reviewing the concepts again and again does the job for me.
However, I do want to go over the EOC questions. Is 20 days enough for that?
May god have mercy on your soul.
Amen
Wow…no mocks… go you
Guys, how would you call this bias ?
is it representativeness or confirmation ?
I would say this is more cognitive than emotional.

Its neither. There is no time left for it.

Lets throw in conservatism…maybe anchoring and adjustment even better…hindsight.
I mean whatever floats your boat sunpak. Good luck.
sunpak, with all due respect, if you don’t at least go through some of the old AM sessions from previous exams (not necessarily taking them as “mock exams,” there is a 99% chance you will fail. i would bet on it, frankly. I am a retaker (band 9) - L3 is night and day different from L1 and L2. while it is critical to go through the EOCs, the most important aspect of Level 3 is PRACTICE. I have heard from countless people who failed L3 because they ran out of time (they spend too much time developing the perfect answers).
showing up to test day without taking a practice exam (AM session) is worse than showing up with shoe laces to a gun fight…trust me.
ps - there are a ton of biases he is suffering from. from his tone and reasoning, i would say conservatism and overconfidence…you need to do some Bayesian updating bro!

Better luck in 2016…
Q: Is 20 days enough to do and redo all the EOC questions?
A: Yes
Q: Is Doing redoing redoing redoing EOC enough for CFA-III?
A. WAAHAHAHAHA
Is there a point at which we can stop giving good advice and just let people make mistakes? After all every fail makes you statistically more likely to pass
As confucius said: “The best protection from a big bear is a slow friend…”
TS listen to us and do at the very least one AM mock. You are in for a couple of panic moments on exam day otherwise. At best.
Yes, you can easily do and redo the EOCs.
I’ll sit for my first am mock tonight (dum dum dum). I must admit, im feeling fairly confident given my pm scores and my eoc batting avg. Perhaps this will put me in my place and kill my confidence
Where do you find the mocks?
I see three on the CFA website.
Are there any other?
Thanks,
Guys, I’ve been practing the AM mock exams. But I’m quite worried that I’m paying less attention on the PM part even though I’ve done all the BBs and EOCs. I don’t want to be caught off guard come exam day. Any tips on how to prepare better for the PM part?

Sunny- Stay with the original plan and focus on EOCs.
If you didn’t do any mocks for LI or LII, then your study technique ain’t broke – no need to fix it.
