I always feel bad for the people who win big then lose it. I don’t want to just call them an idiot because without being put in that situation you can’t really say for certain what you would do. The things I don’t get is why someone would keep 745,000 sitting in a car? It really just blows my mind how you could have so little regard for money.

If you feel bad for lottery winners, there must be a huge list of people you feel bad for.

I’m sure there are smart people who buy tickets here and there too, but mostly it’s the idiots.

I fall into the category of those who buy a few tickets when the jackpot gets really big. I realize I’m not going to win and am throwing my money away, but it’s fun to occasionally dream about instantly having FU money and $10 - $20 is a small price to pay for a little fun.

It’s a waste of money, but then again, so are a lot of other things people spend money on.

That’s how most people approach it. It gives them hope for a few days.
