wtf !!! i got this completely wrong… as in zilch, zero! Question 2 … on the acme pension plan … 1) isn’t 3 year change in expected inflation signifant enough to be included in the ips ? 2) if it is not to be included in the ips, then why should we change the strategic allocation from domestic to international equity 3) whats wrong with indexing pension benefits ? cfai say its good for the beneficiaries but bad for the plan, so we don’t index plan benefits to inflation ??? i thought in pension plans our paramount concern are the plan beneficiaries can anyone help, please.
