Probably a simple question… but how did we get this duration/maturity ratio of .75? Late at night trying to figure this out with quarter of my brain power.
It’s always approximated as 0.75 unless it is given. If it’s not always asume the following:
[(1/Q) / 2] - 0.75 x N
