Wow…a results thread 2 weeks to actual results day. .you have way too much time on your hands mate …i predict this thread will die a sad lonely death and be replaced by one in caps on actual results day. .
good forum to get by…Don’t care which thread really…
Good luck to all candidates
Imagine 2 weeks from now you will be going through something that level 1/2 folks are currently going through…17 min left…
Yeah I am slowly getting excited.
Can anyone confirm?
*CFA LEVEL III RESULTS RELEASED PREMATURELY TO SOME CANDIDATES
confirmed. Bloomberg headline just posted
Hope not
I can confirm. My results were made available and I failed.
Sorry looks like this was already addressed in another thread
CFA Level III Results Released Prematurely to Some Test-Takers *CFA INSTITUTE SAYS UNCONFIRMED' RESULTS WERE POSTED ON WEBSITE *CFA INSTITUTE SAYS
SMALL FRACTION’ OF CANDIDATES AFFECTED *CFA INSTITUTE SAYS ON TWITTER IT’S INVESTIGATING DISCLOSURE *CFA LEVEL III RESULTS RELEASED PREMATURELY TO SOME CANDIDATES
Anyone get their results? I checked - mine didn’t leak. I mean, come on - how unofficial could they be. Update from CFAI, "We apologize to all CFA Program Level III candidates who briefly had access today to preliminary and unconfirmed June 2015 exam results. The results, scheduled to be released on 11 August, were mistakenly made available in candidates’ CFA Institute online accounts for approximately one hour. Fewer than 100 Level III candidates – or 0.4% – accessed their own preliminary and unconfirmed results. Final results will be available to Level III candidates on 11 August as planned (detailed June Results Timeline PDF). Exam results are still undergoing quality review procedures, which are requisite for protecting the integrity of exam results. We take very seriously our commitment to candidates; we sincerely regret this error and look forward to releasing results as scheduled. "
So, right now, a particular team at CFAI which mails results would be under the scanner for a violation.
from the mail it seems they made available to all. but a few accessed it
I could care less, knowing now or knowing in 2 weeks won’t change the next 6 months for me.
We have to wait…
My preliminary, unconfirmed results indicate a PASS
I appear to have done well on the afternoon session, scoring 70+ percent on 8 out of 10 item sets (1 was 51-70% and 1 was <=50%). This implies a maximum possible score of 92%, a minimum possible score of 73%, and an average score of 83%.
My morning session results were worse than expected. 4 out of 11 item sets were 70+ percent correct, 4 out of 11 item sets were 51-70% correct, and 3 out of 11 item sets were <=50%. Using the appropriate points per question (which range from 14-20pts), this implies a maximum possible score of 75%, a minimum possible score of 43% and an average score of 59%.
In total, including morning and afternoon sessions, the greatest possible maximum score is 83%, the smallest possible minimum score is 58%, and the mean score is 71%.
My guess is that I scored around a 75% +/- in total. My minimum formulas assume 0% for <=50% categories which is a rather harsh/conservative assumption. If I were to use 25% (the midpoint) instead of zero, that immediately brings the total overall average to 73%.
I just saw this hit bloomberg - why are they early?
It is just for some of us to see aug 11 in advance
Speaking out loud, if the pass rate is in the mid 50 this year, and only 0.4% saw the results which makes approx 24,250 total L3 candidates pool for 2015 -> 13,400 made it this year !
