These Schweser short answer quizzes are awful. Some are so incredibly nuanced and specific to literally one paragraph of the curriculum. I’m really hoping the exam is a bit broader based for the PM session, or i’m in for a world of pain…
Agreed! And that one paragraph will be pulled out of a topic that CAIA spent no more than 2-3 pages on in the official book.
There are a lot of “junk” questions in the MCs, too, that are pulling my scores down. Like, was volatility high for this asset class compared to this asset class in 2000-2014, very high, moderate, or not very moderate? C’mon! Really?
I honestly think Kaplan inflates their QBanks and mocks with these junk Qs so that they can brag that they have 1,600 questions compared to the other providers, but really only 1,000 are useful.
