47bps

Anyone seen that number?

No, but I saw his big brother 48 bips…they must be related to my homeboy Rounding Error.

MO costs

I remember seeing that big brother on the side of the street. He looked suspicious to me since I could see him trying to determine what his missed opportunity was for not robbing the Banque of CFAI and delaying his approach.

48 bps? Awesome, I passed for sure now.

What was the question asked?

Truthfully I can’t even remember…but walking out I remember talking about with some other guys, and 48 bips was the consensus. That also seems to be the consensus in another thread talking about this question. Options maybe? I really have no clue what the question was.

i didn’t see the question was asking for “basis points” and gave it in percentage. Hopefully I get most partial marks for it.

on this type of problem does % unfilled matter

the formula(closing of day cancelled-benchmark)xunfilled position/total position—i believe thats how we all got 48 bps

yes thanks for correcting the forumla.

yeah, wtf you all talking about.

It was just a quick 3 or 4 point question. Doesn’t matter if you put 48 bps or .48%. If you did the equation correctly and rounded down to 47 I’d imagine you’re still fine.

does anyone remember what the closing price was?
