That’s bad for you. Honestly, you should switch to free weight. Squatting free weight is considered king of exercises for a reason.

Everyone starts somewhere, just increase your weight incrementally by 5lbs each workout

Squatting free weight activates over 50% of your body’s muscle. The only other activity that I think comes close to that is swimming. Im squatting tonight, gonna try for 275 x 10 which would be a PR rep wise…

Started doing crossfit at a decent gym near me. So far it’s awesome. I worked out a fair amount before and played a bunch of sports, but felt like I didn’t really have anywhere else to take my performance and plateaued. This has been a remedy so far, not sure if anybody else does it. I also like the team dynamic, really motivates you.

I instruct a P90X class, and the group dynamic really makes all the difference. I’ve done a lot of research on Crossfit and will begin with my team as soon as I feel they’re ready.
