6 sections below 50 in AM, 2 above 70, still passed

so that was how bad I did on the AM, but still managed to pass by god’s grace… I was surely a borderline pass… you guys might think I did something spectacular in the PM, but that’s not true 5/8 above 70… I was very sure I did very well in the AM, much better than the PM but had a rly bad score in AM, inspite of a lot of practice for AM sessions… Same happened last year when I failed band 8…I guess I am not able to understand what exactly is expected in the AM. So for all you retakers who cant nail the AM somehow, the key for you is give your best in AM somehow by doing a lot of practice but nail the PM for sure… This would certainly help you get through the L3. so dont give up yet…

All’s well that ends well… Thanks to all fellow members who were of great help especially cpk, magician… you guys are amazing… Very happy that some of the fellow members- bilal, sooraj, optimistic, cogitus who were along in this long journey also passed… Good luck guys

i did well in AM

BUT PM destroyed me

still cant get over it that i flunked in objective q

I thought I did better in AM but apparently I also got 5 sections < 50!

I thought I did worse in PM but i only got 2 sections < 50!

Who cares… I PASSED! YAY!

same here Bilal

vicky, its great that you are able to do well in AM, take it positively and practice a lot for PM like you must have done for L2, study hard and I am sure u’ll make it next year

I thought I literally ripped AM apart, but found that I got only 4 >= 70, 6 between 50 and 70 & 1 less than 50. I frankly expected lot of more than this…

PM, as I said it was completely digital scores - 5 > 70 and 3 <50… What surprised me was the ethics score though, where I got > 70. Sealed it for me I guess…

Hey how does it matter now

Dude you are lucky, I have the same situation and did pretty good in the afternoon and failed

I wish CFAI would give exact grades and not ranges. <50 can be 0-2 wrong … same goes to other bands. This is the case for AM and PM where individuals have no clue how close they were.

@ donkishot… our matrix is almost the same, which confirms to me that yes I got lucky and was a borderline pass probably! thank god

feel sorry for you, hope you make it next year

I believe part of your statement, but not the other.

I compared our matrix… and it was exactly the same… there was 1 section in AM where you got above 70 and I got 50-70

For PM, there was 1 section where I got above 70 and you got 50-70 …

It might be just less than 3-4 questions that makes the difference here. I strongly believed that I did a goodjob in the morning though.

Whenever it come to abit luck, I am the last person who has some and in this exam the luck plays important role when you are on the edge.

Congrats anyway…

I even got 7<=50 and 3>70 in the AM session, 2<=50 and 3 >70 (including ethics) in the PM session. I Passed and it must have been really close. Though i thought i did extremely well in the AM but was surprised. Grateful!

I don’t know mate, I am debating about retabulation, but something tellimg me it is just waste of $100.

Not need to say, I wasted 100 times of this with wasting my life in past 6 months.
