I am reading the Schweser notes for a 2nd time. Some of the topics i’ve read 3 times already. But I’m trying to go through the Schwester notes 2x in full and reading only my highlighted info once in the notes. I’m half way done with the CFAI reading questions as I read through the Schweser notes for a second time.
Last month before I plan to do hopefully all 7 of my mock exams and review them throughly.
Taking detailed notes from CFA books, and doing EOC questions twice along the way. In the middle of Derivatives and Economics now and have Ethics, PM, and Alt Inv left. Was hoping to have everything done except Ethics by April 1 and spend the last 8 weeks on ethics and mocks, but will miss that goal. Regardless I’m starting Item set mocks on April 1st with goal to do at least 10-12 full mocks by game day.

Have PM, Alt , Part Quant and Ethics to go. Will wrap up (hope to) by April 15.Then review followed by mocks.Remember little of what i studied.
for mocks …CFAI 2013, Schweser Vol 1 and maybe vol 2. Plan to buy Elan 2 mocks. Thats 9 full length mocks.1080 questions in item set format. … hmmmm. maybe i should skip schweser vol 2. there is no way i can do a thorough review and solve that many mocks in 60 odd days.
What are your views on previous years CFAI mocks? one has to look through the syllabus to see what has changed to avoid wasting time solving stuff that isnt part of syllabus.
My idea is to solve them like independant practice questions rather than mocks. leave out stuff that isnt there or has changed substantially.
