83 Months Submitted, 41 Months Accepted

I am so pissed…I submitted 2 roles. They obviously only recognized the latest one. So if I stay in the same role for another 7 months, they should approve?? Do I need to re-submit again after another 7 months, or what to do? Anybody have same experiences?

jennifer, email me @ aol and i will tell u what u need to do

Could you send me your advice to hjh108@hotmail.com, thanks a lot.

PTrainer really ought to post - lots of people want the asnwer. Anyway, people are apparently having success with LOS-annotated descriptions of their jobs. So you list job responsibilities and then pair them with the LOS which address that job responsibility. I wouldn’t go with the “obviously”, I would ask. At any rate, they might be just telling you that if you stay in your current job through next summer when the exams are graded you are good.

I submitted 53 months and only 23 months accepted… And it took me 18 months for 3 exams, but need to wait for another 25 months to get the charter… LOL

I had a similar situation, when they didn’t accept 16 months from my previous job. On the CFA website read the FAQ section. One of the questions is regarding not accepting all submitted work experience and what to do about it. So I looked at their “sample job descriptions” and wrote them an e-mail with a detailed description of my responsibilities. I didn’t bring up specific LOS but emphasized research, quantatative and qualitative measures I used and how CFA helped me …I was a performance/risk analyst. After this they accepted my experience. So good luck!
