if A, a portfolio manager at an equity managmennt company , also manage his parent’s account in the company. whe he prepare a purchase recommendation on XX corporation, why he need to disclose that he manges his parent’s account? Thanks.
I don’t think he has to unless he has a benefit.
so there is no confict of interest between the shares in the portfolio and the recommendation he is making?
If in some of the accounts there are shares of course he has to disclose it. I’m saying that there shouldn’t be a reason why he has to disclose that his parents account has the shares. I could be wrong, but it just seems beyond what is required.
