I appreciate this thread and here is my 2 bps in the hope others will continue to contribute: 10.31.l PASS (Process, Alpha, Style, Section bets) SS9, LOS 29d; Spread the Structured Sectors such that the Credit Upside matches the Credit Defense for all CashFlows both Yes (yield curve pickup) and No (new issues) 12.34.a LA versus New Hampshire (Lack of transparency, Accounting practices, No link between pay and perf, High comp packages) For the TTLLRRU one I remember TRL (total request live from MTV) 12.34.c Perscriptions to Improve: RIM the TIP (Retirement mandatory, Indy audit cmte, Meet w/o mngt, Term limits, Indy board members, Pay for perf) 13.37.a; Long Island Triple D’s (reminds me of girl I know in college) Liquidity, Informationally less efficient, Diversification, Due diligence costs, difficult to value) 13.17.i; D2 money in and money out (Diversification i.e. not correlated w/ other assets, Diversification across asset classes, money is in capital calls, money out is liquidity of position) Non Financial Risks: AT&L meets RSM in the OPFN (Open w/ an F) AT&L is the part of the pentagon that buys weapons, RSM Equico is an IB that does Aerospace and Defense banking
