Yes I am using right now for practice, there are some mistake in solution, but still okay to get some different idea about questions in higher weight / your weak areas like equity , FRA, derivatives etc. Questions standards are pretty similar to CFA mock .
This should be keep in priority after CFA Mock & EOC.
Ok so I used the free materials. A few things that should be noted. The wording and usage of English is a little strange but acceptable. A few of the solutions are off so be careful. Overall, it’s a good supplement and if you are looking for extra item sets, try these out. But do not use it instead of CFAI mocks/questions.
Lots of Indians passing level 2 and 3 and setting up their own “institutes” good to see entrepreneurship thriving.
With regards to the quality, guys comeone just download the huge amount of freebies they give out and attempt a problem set or two. You have done enough questions to see fi they are good or not. If you are satisfied then pay the $20.
Thank you Vicky for referrig this, this was really helpfull in my passing Level 2 & scoring more then 70 in heavy weights such as FRA, Equity, CF, FI.
I will surely advice to go through once in last 15 days for practice, by doing this you know many trick & traps in exam day and can handle in a better way, but don’t do this at the cost of EOC & BB
Ive done 10 of the sectional tests so far (with 5 vignettes of 6 questions per test - so 300 questions in total) and am averaging 59% overall.
I averaged 72% on the CFAI online practice tests with only one try, so it seems I am finding the Konvexity questions slightly harder. With the Konvexity questions, overall I find them very useful, they are definitely not easy and there are quite a few “traps” that you need to watch out for. I feel they also require slightly more steps to get each answer compared to the CFAI questions.
For the $45 I paid for the 30 sectional tests and 3 mock exams, I feel it was great value for money…especially compared to what some other providers are charging.
If I was to find any faults with the Konvexity questions, I would say that some of the grammar used is slightly odd, and it is sometimes evident that they weren’t written by a native Engkish speaker…but that is not a massive problem and overall the vignettes and questions are clear enough.
Secondly, the CFAI has stated that in their exams, questions do not lead on from one another, or rather being able to answer one question will not depend on you having got the correct answer to a previous question - this is not always the case with Konvexity - which can lead to frustration when you know you havn’t answered one question correctly and the next two questions rely on that particular answer. But again, its definitely not a deal breaker.
So yeah, I have now made Konvexity part of my “main mock/test material” along with Finquiz and the CFAI stuff. I feel that between those three, I should be well served.
