Yea, but who is really going to admit publicly “I let it go because I didn’t understand, only to find out he had a flaw in the paper.” lol
^ I didn’t paste all of the judge’s comments. She did admit that pretty much everything the guy said went right over her head. I don’t do much litigation support work, but I do know that the cardinal rule as an expert witness is do not present anything that the judge will not understand unless you want your client to lose.

As mentioned above, call the prosecutors office and ask him to reduce it to a non-moving violation and that you’ll pay the fine the same day.
If that doesn’t work, spend $300 on a traffic lawyer. That should cover the fee as well, and they will just strike a plea bargain for you. You could do this yourself, but sometimes they won’t let you.
I’ve had 4 tickets for 20+ over the speed limit in 2 different states and each time have just paid a lawyer. Zero points on my record. No court appearance, no court fees, no defensive driving. Just cut the check and be done with it.
