Hi out to all seniors here, I am currently in my mid twenties. Previosuly I worked as a Hedge Fund Accountant before I took a paycut and move on into an Entry Level Financial Analyst position.
My jobscope consist of doing financial modelling for Power Plant Projects, Ad-Hoc investment Projects (Acquisition of vessels), Operations Analysis (for cost saving purpose), do up pricing mechanism and general budget and forecast for the company. Sort of work directly under my GM and CEO thus I will do any other sort of work they tasked me.
I am in the 1/3 commodites, 1/3 commodities shipping and 1/3 Energy Industry.
May I as what will my career path be like?
Any chance of me moving into the investment banking for probably M&A functions? Or do I stand a chance to move into research analyst position?
