Age of CFA Level III candidates

Indeed. Reminds me of my “4-1/2” year old daughter. I think I stopped with the fractions pretty early in elementary school. Besides, it’s not like a sports record, where days separate the “fastest to 500 home runs” etc. All the people in my office who have their charter are in their mid-30s to early 50s and all of them obtained their charters after 5-10 years of work experience. Kudos for trying to get it done early, though but no one is impressed if you do it when you are super young; it’s actually easier since most candidates that age don’t have families. Get over yourself Dont get me wrong, I didn’t mean it the way you interpreted it. The 5 days part just sticks because it is just a reminder of my past 2 birthdays spent doing sample exams. Besides I’d rather be older and have some experience already, No harm intended.

gpfists, we dont want those brag posts anymore up in here. We trying to stay focused maaan

No worries. I didn’t pick up on that little birthday nuance–bummer! For everyone else (in the U.S. at least) Memorial Day has likely just been another day since it falls less than a week before the exam most years. I’m looking forward to beers and brats next year.

We trying to stay focused maaan Like I just said, wasn’t meant as bragging. Although I do understand it might have been interpreted this way now that I re read it. In any case no use in going on about this.

I will be 25 for D-Day; oops, I mean June 2012.

I wonder how many years of qualified work experience people have?

  1. even if I pass level 3 next year, I would still have to wait 1.5years to get the qualified work experience.
