I mean, no he definitely spreads false information and potentially hate speech and he sucks. In the same way a televangelist does or any number of people with weird podcast followings but it’s still not the same as yelling fire in a crowded theater which is consciously leading to immediate potential death. All I’m saying is that these sort of things create a very slippery slope when a few media companies control the channels of information. What if ISP’s follow suit, then you’re literally getting whatever info they deemed appropriate.
As a thought experiment consider everything you know to be true. Since at best we sporadically travel, most of it is based on flow of information, usually through the internet. The internet is nearly infinite for all practical purposes so you’re basically relying on a few major search engines that guide you to whatever the best hits are among millions, almost nobody goes past the first page. Your entire “reality” is based on the black box that is Google’s algorithms pushing hits to the top for everything from recipes to who was Malcolm X and what is Brexit. Not going Full Metal Turd and claiming conspiracy but 10 years ago the internet was the wild west and it is changing. There is definitely a lot of power in the hands of a few gatekeepers and the actions of censoring one loony need to be considered in the broader context of precedent.

I don’t care much about her prior tweets, but the hypocrisy of the NYT is really disturbing. If this so called “journalist” had tweeted about any other race, she would’ve been fired in a second.
I love it. Vox wrote a long article basically conducting mental gymnastics to make the tweets not racist. It’s a nonsensical cocktail of A) apparently “white people” suddenly becomes a high brow satirical metaphor beyond the comprehension of simple Americans, B) it’s ok because white people run America and C) the author is a minority. The author also makes the seemingly important distinction that this couldn’t be rephrased as anything against Jews because not all Jews are white. In addition, it becomes important to note that the NYT also took a courageous stance against the “alt-right’s” bullying tactics of actually holding people accountable for what they said years ago, obviously never a tactic used by the left for example.
Anyhow, this is the left winning battles to lose wars. Anybody who has two working brain cells to rub together can see the hole they’re digging. Que another “shocking” election defeat in 2020 that can only be chalked up to racist barbarians streaming out of the woods to vote against Hillary 2.0.
