My membership application page now has a tick on all criteria including ‘48 Months Submitted, 48 Months Accepted’ and says: “Congratulations! You have been approved for Membership.” The local society has accepted me as a member but I haven’t paid any dues to the CFAI or the society yet. Does that mean I am now a charterholder or do I have to wait for a letter from CFAI?
I’m pretty sure you’re not a charterholder until you’ve paid the membership dues and your name has been updated in the members directory. On a related note does anyone know how long it takes for them to invoice you for your dues after your application has been accepted?
