any opinions on allenresources foe level III
I saw their Level I videos. So boring!
Just get Schweser, go to a 3 day conference, study you tail off, take the exam, pass the exam. Sincerely, FastEd, CFA

Forget Allen Resources…they are a bunch of crooks
I used them for level 2 once. Two weeks following the exam, I received an email asking if I would like to write questions for their q-bank. I had no previous communication with the company and they did not know me from Jack. I lost total confidence in the company after that exchange.

In case anyone is still interested in this topic I can share my experience: I used Allen Resources test bank + CFAI for Level 1, it was fine I used Allen Resources test bank + notes + CFAI for Level 2 – I found Allen was woefully inadequate for this level; their test bank was not at all like the vignettes on the exams and their notes were horrible (not clean summaries like Schweser’s). I passed anyway but I think using Allen hurt me. Based on my level 2 experience I did not even consider Allen for level 3. I used Schweser, some CFAI reading / review and old CFAI + Schweser exams for level 3. That worked fine. To be fair to Allen, I do know someone that passed all three levels effectively using only Allen, but I have no idea how given how weak Allen’s materials are. Hope that helps.
My experience…Allen LI was decent…LII was crap…(won’t be using for LIII) I also spoke to an Allen rep and they acknowledged that their videos DON’T correspond to LOS…they just cover the subject material. Videos for LI were OK (not great)…videos LII complete crap
