guys plan to start my L2 prep in March. do you think its too late? just wanted to ask u all since u might have already gone through a chunk of the curriculum.
depends how much time you have to dedicate to studying.
say , March and April i can put in total of 120 hours in total May i can do another 120. would tht suffice? if not, how much would be needed?
aquabu - I started in March last year and tried to cram in with a full time job (where I was working crazy hours for a company that failed last year). It was doable and I was pretty much comfortable with the curriculum. I failed because of my own mistakes (and luck). You can surely do it. Would recommend to go for it.

In my opinion, with 240 hours, you have a good shot at succeeding. I’m planning 160, 170 hours to read Schweser 1-5, then some 60-80 hours of practice questions + selected reviews where necessary. I’d say do it. Still, start the reading now, if possible. Do you have absolutely no spare time now? For example, I’ve taken to reading while commuting. Read almost all of SS11 in the train.

I got my material ystday, and will start to study today. Pretty confident I shouldn’t have problems to pass the exam. You should apply - start studying already now from Schweser :-), till you get CFAI curriculum.

I don’t even care if you pass or not, I know plenty of dumb people getting PhDs and a lot of smart(er) people who never even got bachelor degrees - I’d prefer the smart ones without a PhD any day.
