Amazing physical feats?

If you want an “easy” thing to cross of your list, try running with the bull in Pamplona. The big plus is that chicks become putty when you show off your scar from being gored by a bull.

^didnt some guy just got killed a few weeks ago? That is a no go for me right there.

I guess the CFA investor policy statement will describe you as “low” to “average” willingness to take risk, while my co-worker would have “above average” willingness.

^yea. Not a big fan of taking risks that offer no tangible returns.

The thing is, I don’t believe that there are no returns. When this guy puts “I swam the English Channel” on his resume and assuming everything else is equal, he will be twice as likely to get interviews. People like to meet and/or hire people who do impressive things like this, even if they are not really related to work.

Hey, I swam the Pacific Ocean. Not to mention the Atlantic, and the Indian. Oh wait, you mean “all the way across it?”

I did a half marathon back in February. Am training to do a 30K trail race in October and am using that to build up to either a marathon or a 50K trail race next spring depending on how training goes over the winter. Props to anyone who can swim a longer distance. I’m a horrible swimmer and could never do it.

I’d rather take the more traditional “de-worming orphan in Latin America” approach to impress interviewers, though. But each to his own.
