Andy is the man, but Bone has an accent that helps me remember things better. I can hear the Brit making a few jokes in my head during the practice exams, good sign. Don’t think you could go wrong with either.
Marc LeFebvre for L3 prep - I’m pretty sure if I pass, his 3 day Boston course will be the reason why. He has a very unique approach, and took his personal time one evening to give us an extra lesson. LeFebvre is very talented at connecting the dots across subjects, and his prep recommendations proved very helpful for me on the L3 exam.
I had Andrew Holmes L2, and he is also a very incredible teacher. Holmes helps to make complicated formulas simple, and gives good hints for passing the rigorous calc heavy questions on L2.
I think like everyone, the instructors have different strengths and weaknesses. My impression is that I was very lucky to have Holmes for L2 and LeFebvre for L3.
Props to Andy Holmes and Jon Bone! They are both excellent!
I didn’t enjoy Marc Lefebvre as much, mainly because of some mistakes he was making in the videos (not because of his teaching style)… That being said, when he’s not going back and forth to correct his slight mistakes, he is really good as well!
I too noticed the ridiculous amount of variability in Andy Holmes’ weight between videos, lol…
