Annuities due: BEG or END mode in calculator?

What do you recommend regarding how to handle annuities due questions? Do you recommend switching to BEG mode for an annuity due question and then switching back to END mode? Or do you recommend keeping your calculator in END mode for the whole exam, treating annuities due like an ordinary annuity and doing the extra conversion step?

The latter. You don’t want to forget switching it back to END mode and getting the rest of the questions wrong. I just wrote down a huge “REMEMBER TO MULTIPlY BY 1+r” whenever I solved an annuity due question.

I use the BEG mode. It’s just easier, and I’m all for that.

even am using BEG mode…and have habit of getting calc back to END mode after solving the problem.

Prefer to just use END mode always and multiply with 1+r for Due problem - easier and removes the problem of forgetting to switch back to END mode and committing an error.

No, I just use the annuity formula to verify my result.
