Hi All,
I’m doing CFA L2, and am part of CFA Society Melbourne. I like it but I personally want more events to go to. I had a look at other society’s: FINSIA, FMAA and AFIA (plus ones at Uni).
Does anyone know of any more in Melbourne? Before I commit to any membership fees, does anyone have experience with any of them? Which are good?

CAIA has an Australian chapter with regular events in Melbourne (free). https://caia.org/chapters/150/events
Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) Young Super Network (events are about $30). http://www.aist.asn.au/membership/young-super-network-(ysn)/join-ysn.aspx
I’ve heard good things about FINSIA.
Also CIMA (Certified Investment Management Analyst), and FEAL (Fund Executives Association Ltd), but memberships are a bit pricey.
