So I just came across this designation and it looked interesting. I’m very interested in distressed debt and have a good understanding of it. I thought about going for this (actually CTP-D, because of my lack of work experience), but I had never heard of it. Read some pretty impressive articles about it, but that’s it. Is anyone familiar with this? Seems like it may be slightly more useful in IB than AM, but would be beneficial nonetheless.

Thinking about that as well and have scheduled to take the GMAT in a few weeks. I’m thinking that I shouldn’t even waste my time outside a top 20 or maybe even top 10. Is that pretty much the consensus?
