From 2008 to 2010, I didn’t read one page in textbook. Sold my level 1 textbook actually. Still keep level 2 and 3 brand new but no secondary market after CFAI attached textbooks to registration in 2008. But I have to say, for level 3, I barely passed with a little bit of luck, reading textbook might help.
