ARO (Asset Retirement Obligation) included?

I see that ARO is included as a topic on investopedia.com (SFAS 143). However I cannot find it in the 2010 curriculum. Is it still included or has it been deleted from L1 curriculum? Thanks, NC

ARO is discussed in SS37 under Long-Lived Assets. (pg. 212 in FRA if you’re using Schweser). Based on the feedback from AFers on here, I wouldnt use investopedia because a lot of it is outdated. Hope this helps!
