Asset-Liab vs Liab Only

So the question has three choices (surprise surprise)

asset only, asset-liab managmenet approach, liab-only approach.

I get that asset only just focuses on growth and ignores liabs and asset liab durating matches but what is the difference between the asset-liab approach and liab only approach?

Is the third choice(“liab-only approach”) a distractor?

^ agree there is no such thing as liab-only IMO

yeah cool - makes sense. I couldn’t find any reference to it in my bible (notes). thanks
